What is Staging®? |
 |
|
When you get ready to place your home on the market for sale it becomes a
product. Similar to a product on the shelf at your local store, the product
has features and benefits as well as pluses and minuses, and competition. To
compete with the competition in the marketplace you must be priced right and
look better than the other products. Your home is no different. It is one of
many homes for sale and you must present it to the buyers in the best
possible light.
Staging® is the process of preparing any home for sale, regardless of price
or location. Using a proven, professional set of guidelines, your house is
reviewed for compliance with preset standards, and any necessary
modifications are made. Once your house meets these criteria, a Staged® Home
Certificate will be issued and your home will be registered as a Staged®
Home. This entitles your home to a special marketing program developed to
promote those homes which have been designated as Staged® Homes. Your home
will be featured on the Staged Homes web site for maximum exposure since the
Staged Homes web site has nearly 2 million hits a month.
This unique system has proven to help sell homes faster and/or for more
money. Real estate agents will have great confidence in showing your home to
potential buyers because they know it is Staged® and ready to be sold.

How Staging® Works |
| What You Need To Know About Staging® |
Selling your home is the second most important financial decision, right after buying one, that most people experience. When it comes to selling your home, you want to sell quickly and for top dollar! The problem is that most people are not aware of everything that can and should be done to prepare a home for sale or to maintain it's appearance during the selling process. Whether you do it yourself or hire an ASP Certified Home Stager, selling your house faster and for more money is the goal and Staged To Move will help you achieve that goal! To get started, click on the links below for an introduction to what Home Staging® is all about. What Does Staging® Mean?
|
 |
What Does Staging® Mean? |
Selling your home means competition. Buyers will be comparing your home to all the other similar home listings on the market. Staging® is the process of preparing your home for sale, regardless of price or location. When buyers are looking, they'll want to buy YOUR home, not the competition. |

Staging® Gets Results! |
Homes prepared for sale in the greater Sacramento area, have sold on average for as much as 8-10 percent MORE than homes that were not Staged® for sale. In some cases homes have sold for 30 percent more than originally planned after being professionally Staged®.
In addition, Staged® homes sell faster. The average unstaged home offered for sale in the local market sells in 32-42 days... but the average Staged® home in the region sells in 7 days or less!
Staging® is the best investment you can make when selling your home.
Staging® costs less than reducing your asking price. Why drop your price $5,000 or more when you can Stage® it for as little as $500.00? |

The Art Of Staging® |
Staging® is not to be confused with interior decorating or interior design. Although it incorporates some of the same elements, the goal of Staging® is to make your home appealing, or at least neutral, to the BUYERS own sense of style. When that happens, buyers begin to see themselves living there. Staging® a home for sale is the art of "de-personalizing" the space. Helping buyers "feel" like they could just move right in makes your home more desirable than the competition.
Staging is not just a marketing tool used on houses that are for sale. It can also help a homeowner personalize their space for functional living. Staging to Live incorporates the HOMEOWNERS own sense of style. Helping a homeowner with furniture placement, art arrangement, and personal collections, are all a part of staging a home for living. |
